Portugal. The Man performs an exclusive acoustic session live in Studio 1A at KUTX in Austin, Texas. Recorded on December 12, 2025, this three-song session captures Portugal. The Man on the final day of tour, ahead of their show that evening at ACL Live. Originally from Wasilla, Alaska, the Grammy-winning band has spent more than two decades evolving from psych-rock outsiders into global hitmakers, including their chart-topping single “Feel It Still.” This KUTX session features songs from SHISH*, the band’s 2025 album released independently on John Gourley’s KNIK imprint after Portugal. The Man completed their long-running deal with Warner Brothers. Drawing from Gourley’s Alaska roots, *SHISH returns to the storytelling spirit that shaped some of the band’s earliest work.
