We Didn’t Expect This Many Monster Fish in Thailand…

Zoe, Dad, Sal and I spent an unforgettable days fishing in Koh Samui, where things quickly escalated into one of the most action-packed sessions I've ever witnessed. 📍 The venue? Samui Fishing Club and Resort, one of the most prolific and beautiful fishing venues in Thailand. The Lake contains a huge stock of Thai giants that keep the action coming all day long. Across three rods, we had constant bites, struggling to keep all three in the water! We land some truly massive fish, and the numbers? 27 fish across 5 different species, including Siamese Carp, Mekong Catfish, Redtail Catfish, Wels Catfish, and Tambaqui. My dad and I were on the rods for the day, alternating between us, with Zoe also getting in on the action — and until we entirely changed tactics to target the predators, the action was thick and fast. I briefly show you different rigs, how we were fishing the pegs, and the setup used at the venue. I would have gone into much more depth, but we just kept catching fish! But this trip wasn’t just about fishing… During our first week in Koh Samui, Zoe and I also explored a lot of what the island had to offer: • Quad biking through the mountain trails •Visiting Pig Island 🐷 •Watching an incredible private fire show on the beach 🔥 •Exploring Koh Samui’s beaches, viewpoints, and island life ... It was the perfect mix of adventure, travel, and monster fishing. 📍 Links to the activities in the video - 👉 Samui Fishing Club: https://samuifishingclubandresort.com/ 👉 The Shack - https://theshackgrillsamui.com 👉 Quad biking tour: https://www.xquad-samui.com/ 👉 Pig Island trip: https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attract... 👍 If you enjoyed the video - Like, subscribe, and drop a comment letting us know your favourite fish from the day — or which species you’d love to catch in Thailand!
