Was R.C. Waldun's new book bad? | L'Académie Book Review

Was R.C. Waldun's new book really that bad? In this video I review "L'Académie" by R.C. Waldun. It has taken the form of a reaction video to KD Book's review of both "L'Académie" and "The Learned Disguise". I cover who RC Waldun is, his rise to booktube fame, the neo-beat movement, and his writing career, recalling the 4chan hate storm that was sparked after The Learned Disguise's release. I discuss my anticipation for the new novel, the public response, and then defend it. Some of KD Book's critiques weren't valid, others were. Much of my personal criticism would be solved simply by hiring competent editors. In the end, I still gave the book a 3/10. This is Robin's second novel and I expect he will continue to improve with the next one. His short stories are great. He has a great writing voice and infinite potential. No matter the response from everyone else Robin should keep his head up and keep putting his pen to paper. Keep your comments within the realm of decency. 0:00 About The Author 1:15 The Backstory 4:58 Summary 5:22 Refuting Some Criticism 10:09 Conclusion and Review Subscribe to Robin here:    / @rcwaldun   Subscribe to KD Books here:    / worldtakeyourplace   Follow me on Instagram @Thusspokehaven Music by Naomi - Individualism - https://thmatc.co/?l=4E1B4C0C Music by Naomi - Remember me? - https://thmatc.co/?l=39A8D5CD - - - - - #rcwaldun #L'académie #thelearneddisguise #theneobeatgeneration #theneobeatmovement #booktube #KDBooks #books #bookreview #waldunchad #thelearneddisguise #there's a tale to this city Ignore the following it is for the algorithm: Not Jay the Author, not Jaidyn L Attard, not Better than Food, not Nathaniel Drew, not Nerdwriter1, not Philosophytube, not Alexandra Roselyn, not Peruse Project, not The Book Leo, not elias, not emmie, not Jack Edwards, not withcindy, not Just Angus, not Murphy Napier, not Hailey in Bookland, not vlogbrothers, not dark academia, not book tierlist, not how to read, not book haul, not philosophy, not psychology, not tiktok literature recommendations, this is a book review.
