BJD Doll Haul Tokyo Japan Azone, Angel Philia, Lil Fairy, Dollzone, Dolks, Kikipop & Dollfie Dream

My best friend and I visited Akihabara Tokyo Japan for 2 weeks. We stayed in a hotel right next to the Akihabara Train Station which allowed us easy access to travel and we explored all the amazing manga and anime shops right next door to us! Radio Kaiken was beyond anything I had imagined, and it was a doll lovers dream. I got asked a lot of the secondhand stores were much cheaper for BJDS, not really is my answer. Although I did save on Dollfie Dream Ribbon, most BJDs in the 2nd hand stores were cheaper but marjinally. Some dolls were more expensive than their initial release it seemed but this was due to the rarity. If you are banking on getting some cheap bjds secondhand when you visit - expect disappointment. My bestie and I are always realistic so budgeted all new dolls prices and anything that fell beneath our estimates was a bonus. As we did overestimate it left us the ability to get a few extras (like Taru who I love so much). Dolls I got were: Angel Philip, Pink Drops. Dollie Dream Ribbon. Dollfie Dream Custom MDD. Dollfie Dream Custome DDB. Azone Reira Wolf Maid. Dollzone Miss Kitty. Dollzone Taru. The only two dolls that were secondhand were Ribbon and Miss Kitty. Most of our clothing was new and official too. Again, the BJD clothing in secondhand stores is cheaper but not by much on the labelled stuff. Non-labels were standard. I had a great birthday this year and enjoyed my time with Matt. We have been best friends for 2 decades and, even though he will deny it, he loves shopping too! Its great having someone there who enjoys the same things as you (anime / manga) so you can geek out together.
