THE METRO ERA HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN! 🚇🔥 In this episode of our Cities: Skylines II series, we're completing and opening our long-planned first metro line. Growing population and increasing traffic congestion had made new transportation solutions a necessity. Therefore, we're undertaking one of the largest public transportation investments in the city's history by establishing our first metro system. The metro line aims to significantly reduce travel times by connecting densely populated areas, the city center, and key locations. It also creates a new transportation backbone that will integrate with bus, metrobus, and train networks. This project is critical not only for reducing traffic problems but also for supporting the city's future growth. With this episode, the city is now beginning to function like a true metropolis! My accomplishments in this section: • Completing the construction of the first metro line • Opening metro stations • Connecting the city center to the rail system • Strengthening the public transportation network • Reducing traffic congestion • Building the transportation infrastructure of the future The long-awaited project is finally complete.
