Florence and its four neighborhoods, an identity marked by four colors. And four are also the pieces of the historic "Scala Italiana," the inseparable companion of the Fire Brigade on every rescue vehicle, capable of rising up to 10 meters to provide assistance. We wanted to unite these symbols in a special journey: four Firefighters paraded through the streets of the city center, carrying a section of the ladder on their shoulders and accompanied by the historic Fire Guards. A journey steeped in history, commitment, and sacrifice. The journey concluded at Piazzale Michelangelo, where the pieces became one under the gaze of the city. Before the Commander, the Florentine flag was carried to the top of the ladder to fly high above the rooftops, as a sign of closeness and hope. From all of us Firefighters, best wishes for a Merry Christmas to the city of Florence.
