Can you beat Diablo III using ONLY common (white) gear? No legendries. No sets. No dopamine. Just me, a Crusader, and Blizzard’s least sexy loot rarity absolutely railing my will to live. Diablo is a game built on loot addiction — shiny drops, big numbers, brain go brrr. So naturally, I decided to remove all of that and raw-dog the campaign with only common gear, on Normal difficulty, until the game or my sanity gave out first. What starts as “this isn’t that bad” slowly devolves into wet-noodle DPS, bosses with gym memberships, and the horrifying realization that my follower has been carrying me harder than any legendary ever could. By Act IV, Diablo stops being a boss fight and becomes a court-ordered execution.
