NCL Jewel Cruise: Visiting The Goonies Filming Locations & AMAZING Views from the Astoria Column!

We are loving this itinerary!! Today we are in Astoria, Oregon… and it’s our first visit to this state! There are so many sites that we want to see here and we found the best way to get to them all was with a tour. We booked with Onward Adventures and they can customize a tour based on what you want to see. We are kids of the 80’s so seeing the Goonies filming locations was high on our list! Katie & Bill were great to work with!! So… what all did we see? The Goonies house aka Mikey’s house, The Goonies Jail which is now a pretty cool film museum, we threw wooden airplanes off the Astoria Column, we grabbed a coffee and snack from Coffee Girl on Pier 39 as well as touring the free Bumble Bee fish canning museum there… oh and there were a ton of sea lions here too! Next up is a quick trip to the Maritime Museum and lastly some fresh salmon and clam chowder at Josephson’s Smoked Fish. What an incredible day!! Once back on Norwegian Jewel, we have a delicious Italian dinner at La Cucina! Next stop… Seattle!
