How to Collimate a Skywatcher 127mm Maksutov telescope
The Maksutov telescope type are a compound scope (mixture of lenses and mirrors combined in the optical train) are knmown for their excellent razor images for Planets and the moon. However been a complex scope, many beginners feel that colimation could be a big problem to sort if the mirrors are misaligned. However despite that there is hardly any info on the internet regarding how to collimate the mirrors on a Mak, Often many forums alway's say to take it back to the Manufacturer for repair. However I found out that it's alot more easier than what most people think, providing you have the right tools in hand, anyone can achieve this, with abit time and paitence, You can do it with ease. We at Astronomy for Beginners A4B are the only one's who have made a video guide based on Collimating a Maksutov telescope! There some write-ups on the net, but we found them far to complicated to understand, however this video guide will help a lot more to beginners we feel best!! Enjoy the video guide everyone!
