This momentous day marks the completion of a grueling 13-week transformation, encompassing rigorous training in close-order drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and the deep-rooted customs and traditions of the Marine Corps. Following today's graduation, these new Marines will take 10 days of well-deserved leave before reporting to the School of Infantry (SOI) at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, for their next phase of combat training.
