Champion Marbles Identifications w/ David Tamulevich “The Stutsman Files”
In this video we take a close look at the Champion Agate Marbles that were produced in the 1980’s and possibly 90’s, which were sold off to dealer Charlie Stutmam of Evansville , Illinois …and appeared in his marbles catalog in the 1990’s. David Tamulevich is our guide, and we tour his personal marbles collection and look at nearly all the Champion marbles that were being sold by Stutsman at that time. These hard-to-find West Virginia Swirls were purchased, labeled and preserved by Tamulevich decades ago! Stutsman created his own marketing nicknames for most of these marbles and we present them here as we work through the catalog. 30-year old Stutsman’ Champion nicknames like “Pumpkin”, “Red Clouds”, “Gypsey” and others are all inspected, photographed and shown. Thank you David Tamulevich for preserving this piece of American Machine-made marbles history for all of us to enjoy!
