There are two chiringuitos (beach bar/restaurants), a sports area with paddel, tennis and running track, kayak and pedalo hire, activity centre, visitor centre, bird hide, swimming pool, hotel, plus walking routes and lots of wildlife. The beach is man made and sits on the shoreline of the largest body of water in inland Andalucia, the total shoreline of the lake is over one hundred kilometres and the depth in places exceeds 70 metres.
