Cascabel Feasibility Targets 123K t Copper, 277K oz Gold and 794K oz Silver Annually

SolGold (LSE: SOLG; OTC: SLGGF) President and CEO Dan Vujcic joined Kitco Mining at the Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek to discuss progress at the tier-one Cascabel copper-gold project in Ecuador. Cascabel contains 12.4 million tonnes of copper, 31.3 million ounces of gold, and 26.8 million ounces of silver, supported by a 2024 PFS outlining a 28-year mine life. Regarding SolGold’s recent move to re-domicile in Switzerland, Vujcic commented that the change creates a simpler platform for financing and execution. He pointed to government backing, with an amended investment protection agreement already secured and a $4 billion construction IPA expected next. “Once we have that in hand, that will be a fantastic catalyst for shareholders and give a lot of comfort that we have full protection for the project,” he said. SolGold is also studying an early open-pit at TAM to accelerate cash flow and de-risk a future block cave, with G Mining leading the feasibility study. “We won’t be waiting to complete the feasibility study to undertake those works because we’re confident that we have something that is highly economic,” Vujcic added. Backed by Franco-Nevada, Zijin, BHP, and Newmont, the company is advancing financing, intending to minimize dilution.
