【009.3】岩古谷山→平山明神山｜Pt.2｜Four-Peak Traverse

2026年6月7日（日）5:11スタート 標高　岩古谷山 806m／平山明神山 970m／大鈴山 1,011m／鹿島山 912m 距離　約7.4km（和市登山者駐車場から4座縦走・周回） 駐車場　和市登山者駐車場 下山後温泉　とうえい温泉 花まつりの湯（車で約20分） 愛知県設楽町にある、 岩古谷山・平山明神山・大鈴山・鹿島山の4座縦走。 この日は昼頃から雨予報だったため、 まだ薄暗い早朝5:11に登山をスタートしました。 天気は快晴とはいかず、 ガスに包まれた時間も多かったですが、 そのおかげで普段とは違う幻想的な山の景色を楽しむことができました。 岩古谷山では岩場を越え、 平山明神山では美しい稜線が広がり、 大鈴山、鹿島山へと縦走を続けます。 4つの山をつないで歩く達成感は想像以上で、 一座ずつ登る登山とはまた違った面白さを感じました。 一方で、 今回初めて山蛭（ヤマビル)にも遭遇。 気付いた時には吸われていて、 なかなか忘れられない登山デビューとなりました笑 それも含めて自然の中でしか味わえない経験。 初めての縦走は大変でしたが、 歩き切った時の達成感は格別でした。 これからも様々な縦走に挑戦し、 まだ見ぬ景色を目指して歩き続けたいと思います。 登頂まで。 Until the Summit ⸻ Sunday, June 7, 2026 – 5:11 AM Start Elevation: Mt. Kashima 912m Distance: Approx. 7.4km loop (Starting from Waichi Trailhead Parking Area) Parking: Waichi Trailhead Parking Area Post-Hike Hot Spring: Toei Onsen Hanamatsuri-no-Yu (About a 20-minute drive) This hike was a four-peak traverse through Mt. Iwakoya, Mt. Hirayama Myojin, Mt. Ohsuzu, and Mt. Kashima in Shitara, Aichi Prefecture. Rain was forecast for later in the day, so I began hiking early at 5:11 AM. Although the weather wasn’t clear, the mountains were often covered in mist, creating a mysterious and beautiful atmosphere. The route included rocky sections on Mt. Iwakoya, scenic ridgelines near Mt. Hirayama Myojin, and continued across all four peaks. This was my first-ever mountain traverse, and connecting four summits in a single hike felt completely different from climbing just one mountain. I also had another first… I was bitten by Japanese mountain leeches. It definitely wasn’t the experience I expected, but it’s now an unforgettable part of this adventure. Despite the challenging conditions, finishing all four peaks was incredibly rewarding.
