We are depressurizing the fuel system and swapping out the fuel filter. This process is identical for the Audi A4 and A6 models, whether you’re driving a wagon or a sedan. ⚠️ CRITICAL SAFETY STEP: Audi FSI engines use Direct Injection, which operates under extremely high pressure. You MUST unplug the fuel pump fuse and start the car to bleed off that pressure before cracking the lines. Failure to do this can result in injury or a face full of gasoline. If you follow the steps, this is an easy driveway project that you can knock out in under an hour! 🛠️ TOOLS & PARTS NEEDED: Replacement Fuel Filter: https://amzn.to/2GI0t98 Flathead Screwdriver: For those pesky Audi hose clips. Nitrile Gloves: Keep that gas off your skin! 🛠️ WHAT WE COVER IN THIS VIDEO: Locating the Fuel Pump Fuse: How to find it and pull it correctly. Pressure Relief: Running the engine until it stalls to clear the lines. Accessing the Filter: Locating the filter under the car (passenger side).
