Most of the songs in this series are completely unknown to me, meaning that I've never seen, heard, or played them. I sight read off of my phone, so the sheet music that you are seeing on your screen is exactly what I am seeing as I sight read. Color coordinated sheet music is so easy to read, that the limiting factor for my ability to sight read a piece is the ability to move my hands. If you already know how to play piano, then I believe that you could sight read pieces at my level (or better, if your hands are more skilled than mine) within 1-2 years. I can confidently say 1-2 years, because I have only been practicing with this system for ~1 year, and I don't possess any special musical ability.
