GWM HAVAL H6 HEV 2026: o que é BOM e FALTA no CARRO HÍBRIDO MAIS VENDIDO DO BRASIL?

The GWM Haval H6 underwent its first facelift at the end of last year and continues to sell very well: it was the best-selling hybrid car in Brazil in 2025, with 28,016 units, according to the Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association (ABVE). Autoesporte spent a month with the entry-level HEV2 version, with a full hybrid system—without recharging—to answer what's good, what's missing, and how much it costs to maintain the R$223,000 SUV. Is it worth it? The 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine has been updated with items from the GWM Wey 07, including a water intercooler, variable oil pump, and electronic water pump. On its own, it develops 150 hp and 24.4 kgfm of torque, and together with the electric motor, the combined figures are 243 hp and 55 kgfm. The transmission is a two-speed automated manual, and the battery is 1.6 kWh. The Haval didn't get a flex-fuel engine this time. The Chinese brand predicts that the version that also accepts ethanol will be presented in the line's renewal in the second half of the year as the 2027 model. Another difference compared to the 2025 model is that the braking system has been recalibrated with electronic actuators to improve braking, replacing the old hydraulic system. Regarding the suspension, the brand also took advantage of the restyling to replace the old bump stops with a firmer set, with less travel than the previous ones.
