Jorge Videla suscribe acuerdos con Hugo Banzer en Bolivia 1976
Bolivia: A journalist's report states: "When the Patagonia aircraft flies over this city, General Videla and his entourage will be able to appreciate the most outstanding features of the city of La Paz from a bird's-eye view. The presidential aircraft will land in a few minutes, and upon landing, President Videla and his entourage will be at an altitude of over 4,000 meters. As the presidential plane carrying President Videla is about to appear, President Hugo Banzer Suarez, along with his wife and high-ranking military officers, are awaiting the arrival of the Argentine aircraft. And now, the Patagonia aircraft has pierced the cloud covering the Bolivian airport and, escorted by a squadron of T-33s, is preparing to approach where the Bolivian authorities, headed by their president, are located. The President of the Argentine Nation, Lieutenant General Videla; Mrs. Alicia Raquel Hartridge de Videla; the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship; Mrs. Guzzetti; and the head of the military household, Captain Alfredo, are preparing to disembark." Fernandez; and the Argentine ambassador, Brigadier Guzman, preceded by the Director General of State Ceremonial. After the national anthems of Bolivia and Argentina were played, both presidents and their wives exchanged formal greetings. Later, both presidents proceeded to sign the final declaration of this meeting held by both presidents in the Republic of Bolivia. Shortly after this ceremony, a press conference was held with the Bolivian press, and minutes later, the President of the Argentine Nation, Lieutenant General Jorge Rafael Videla, began his return to the Federal Capital.
