PRESIDENCY VOWS TO PROSECUTE OFFICIALS LINKED TO ALLEGED FAKE PRESIDENTIAL AGENCY

The Presidency says it is expanding investigations into the alleged fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), vowing to identify and prosecute anyone who helped Prince Adeniyi Mathew Adeyemi operate the alleged fraudulent scheme. According to Presidential aide Temitope Ajayi, security agencies including the DSS, Police, and EFCC have been directed to uncover the network that allegedly enabled forged appointment letters, fake government accounts, and the impersonation of a federal agency. Authorities allege that Adeyemi operated dozens of bank accounts linked to fictitious agencies, met with foreign diplomats while posing as a government official, and fraudulently obtained official documentation. The Presidency insists the PFIPC never existed and says Adeyemi is facing multiple criminal charges, including forgery and fraud.
