Using a Guessing Game to Teach Verbs
Heidi Jo Gallagher | Wichita Collegiate School | Wichita, KS | In this lesson, students play charades to practice acting out verbs. Students draw a picture card and preform the action for the rest of the class. As part of the game, the students also use the verb in a sentence.
