Day Hiking the Enchantments Traverse! | Complete Thru-Hike Guide

Hey everyone! Take a deep dive with me as I venture into The Enchantments Traverse, the most beautiful hike in the US. Located in Leavenworth, Washington, the Enchantments Traverse Thru-Hike spans 22 miles with 10,587 ft elevation change (4,800 ft elevation gain), and takes an average of 12-15 hours to complete. Getting there is around a 3 hour drive from Seattle, however remains one of Washington's most famous hikes buried in the Central Cascades of Okanogan-Wenatchee mountain range. This video is a guide for all those who wish to cross this off their bucket lists, and displays the vast natural beauty of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Journey with me across each leg of the hike, traveling across Colchuck Lake, Aasgards Pass, the Core Enchantments Zone, and the Snow Lakes Descent. I started the hike roughly at 5AM at the Stuart Lake Trailhead and ended at the Snow Lakes Trailhead around 7PM. Taking the Loop Connector Shuttle in the morning, I was able to thru-hike back to my car parked at the Snow Lakes Trailhead. The hike takes quite a lot of mental and physical preparation, especially Aasgards Pass, which spans 1,994 feet in elevation gain in only one mile. I did training hikes every week for 8 weeks to prepare for the Enchantments, including hikes in Mount Rainier National Park and North Cascades National Park. Nonetheless, this is my favorite hike of all time and would definitely recommend!
