The Final Day of Williamson High School
On June 7th 2011, Williamson High School in Williamson, West Virginia closed it's doors for forever. This is the story from the students' perspectives on that final day. The 101 Year Old School consolidated with Burch, Gilbert, and Matewan High Schools to form the new Mingo Central High School in Newtown, West Virginia.
