In this video, I share my firsthand experience of staying overnight on Onrust Island as part of the Onrust Island Festival. This Onrust Island stay was a special event initiated by the Indonesian Historia Community and supported by Suara Sunyi, the Jakarta Maritime Museum, and the Jakarta Department of Culture. From exploring historical sites left by the Dutch East India Company (VOC), ancient tombs, to the mystical atmosphere at night—everything was captured live. 📌 This activity also served as a moment of reflection on the importance of preserving cultural heritage, while also experiencing the sensation of "time travel" on an island that once served as a Hajj quarantine center and a Dutch defense fortress.
