KILL ME AGAIN is my public concept pitch as Rael, Producer at VOID Sound. I created this as an unofficial concept opening for The Knight Only Lives Today because I truly want to show how I would approach the sound of this world and Encrid as a character. For me, the heart of Encrid is not simply that he dies and returns. It is the question death itself cannot understand. Why does this man keep standing up? So I built the song around that conflict. The vocals are built as a JP and EN dialogue with death: Encrid’s will against a voice offering him rest. War pipes, taiko, shakuhachi breaths, low choir and VOID Sound’s dark cinematic ground create the feeling of a regression knight world. This is not official material and is not affiliated with WEBTOON, SOULPUNG, IAN or any rights holders. It is a respectful public application and concept piece to show that I would love to create music for this story, this world and this kind of dark fantasy IP.
