The term "Barista" is used to symbolize a form of semi-retirement where an individual achieves a level of financial independence that allows them to leave their primary, often stressful or unfulfilling, job but still work part-time in a more relaxed, less demanding role. This part-time work helps cover living expenses and provides additional benefits, such as health insurance, without the need to draw extensively from their savings or investments.
