Radu Marian, male soprano. Ave Maria, Johann Sebastian Bach / Charles Francois Gounod. This recording of the extremely rare male voice (one in a billion) singing Ave Maria understandably has become one of the most popular of the many videos that I have produced and uploaded. In addition to the tens of thousands of viewings on YouTube and MaleSopranos, several times that number also have been seen through many links to other websites. My first upload of this recording a few years ago was one of my first, primitive efforts with Windows Movie Maker and with a limited number of images available to me. Because of the popularity of that first video, I have hesitated to produce a second with better images. At last, I feel compelled to do so. I hope that this production does greater justice to the beautiful music and to Radu Marians extraordinary voice. Latin : Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum, benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui Iesus.
