Boris pone en alerta a Guerrero y Acapulco; se esperan lluvias torrenciales

Tropical Storm Boris has Guerrero and Oaxaca on alert due to its slow movement, which will prolong torrential rains and increase the risk of flooding, mudslides, and landslides, especially in Acapulco. Accumulations of between 150 and 250 millimeters of rain are expected in 24 hours, equivalent to almost half of the region's typical monthly rainfall. Authorities also warned of high waves and strong gusts of wind, so the port remains closed to navigation, and the public is urged to stay away from the coast. The National Meteorological Service also reported the formation of Tropical Storm Cristina, which could bring more rain to southern Mexico in the coming days, while much of the rest of the country will continue to experience rainfall this week.
