This is Amatsiko Preparatory School in Kabale, Uganda. For the past 11 years, Amatsiko has provided free education to orphaned and vulnerable children through a mission built on hope, sustainability, and community support. What started small has grown into a school serving 420 children who otherwise may not have access to education at all. Now the school has been told its current structures are considered “substandard” and must be torn down within weeks. Without immediate support, hundreds of children could lose access to school, stability, daily meals, mentorship, and opportunity. The good news is that the founders already secured land and architectural plans for a permanent school. The challenge is funding construction. The estimated cost to build a permanent school for all 420 students is approximately $110,000. If enough people give even a small amount, this goal is absolutely achievable.
