Auros - dualiTY

Genre: Techcore, Psystyle, Hardcore Key: F# Minor BPM: 190 hi its Auros. Or rather Auros81 because I do actually have a number in my name, I just don't use it lmao (so why did you put it there...?). Its been a while since the last song, so I'm happy to finally release something again. I started writing this song a few years ago for a song contest, but idk I wasn't so inspired to finish it for the song contest, and so I never did...UNTIL. Well until now actually. In the past I had only written the latter half of the song, so I had to create the whole beginning. I often see on X, posts of Hitechfullon or Techcore, or whatever that genre is, trending a lot, so I decided to make it aswell for the clicks. Well also I really wanted to try my hand on the genre. I labelled it as Techcore, but idk it might be a different genre, I'm not so educated on these niche genres, so maybe you can educate me if you know. As of recently I got shadowbanned on TikTok, idk why, but whatever that app is stupid anyways...On the other hand though I moved to Insta and I can say certainly that the people there are a lot cooler and more engaging, and that makes me happy. I also have an X/Twitter account btw, but idk my posts never get on anyone's page...that app is a little weird, maybe if whoever is reading this goes to follow me there I can start to grow on that platform. Anyways, if you happen to be reading this, THANK YOU IMMENSELY for listening to the song. I mean I won't force people to like my music, and I produce a lot of different genres too so some people can like one song of mine and not the other, so for me just having someone listen to the song is very appreciated. Then they can decide whether they like it or not, but at least trying to listen to it is really cool so thank you. I'd be happy if you commented something, idk you're favorite part or something. I mean my favorite part is the rumble kick drop...its really really coooool. FUN FACTS: I think this song took like 20 renders to mix, which isn't too bad for my standards, and is an improvement compared to the last songs The rumble kick is created using heavy delay on a kick. Due to the nature of the delay, it takes about a little more than 1 kick for the delay to accumulate and generate the continuous rumble sound that you hear. So by rendering maybe the 3rd kick I can make sure that every kick has its maximal amount of rumble...but i didn't do that. I don't like rendering kicks, so actually the first rumble kick is weaker than the following ones, since there is no overlapping delay from a previous kick, because there is no previous kick before the first one (I hope that made sense...) I'm not so sure how audible it is, but there is a heavy metal guitar in this song. The first drop is actually heavily simplified compared to the original drop idea. When I first wrote it, the pattern was so absurdly complicated, that even I struggled to remember it and get into it. Maybe some people would prefer it to be more complicated, but I think it is perfect as is. The rumble drop actually has some cinematic toms playing in the background if you pay close attention The 3rd drop is actually psystyle, cuz there is a psy bass line, there is a tok, and there are screeches, even if neither the tok nor the screeches are quite that audible The most difficult part about writing this song was getting the pacing right. I like to make sure every drop hits...but originally this wasn't the case for this track, and that was due to a pacing issue. Most notably there used to be no breakdown/buildup between the 3rd drop and the climax drop, which made everything very different. And then when I added the buildup, there was so much energy in it that the climax didn't hit right at all. So there was a lot of tweaking there especially, but i think it turned out pretty well in the end. Speaking of the "end", ending the song was really hard, and I reworked the way the final two kicks hit like 10 times, but i think i got it to sound rather natural in the very end. A total of 136 tracks on this project, which may be a new record, I'm not too sure though. Once again thank you for listening, and go follow my other socials!
