Love Me - Kenny Vance and The Planotones - 2020
Growing up in Brooklyn, New York in the 1950's and listening to Alan Freed on WINS Radio it never occurred to me that there was a flourishing Chicano "Doo Wop" / Soul music scene in South Texas called "San Antonio's West Side Sound". Surfing the internet one night I found this great song "Love Me" a Doo Wop styled recording by The Royal Jesters written by Dimas Garza, from San Antonio, Texas.
