The Tre Cime di Lavaredo hike in the Dolomites (Italy) is one of the most famous trails in Europe — and in this video we take the adventure even further by including an incredible via ferrata halfway through the route. This experience was part of our motorhome trip through Europe, and it was one of the most memorable moments of the entire trip. We started at the Auronzo Refuge, hiked the classic Tre Cime trail, and decided to make the day even more epic by following a via ferrata with tunnels carved into the rock, exposed passages, and a high point with 360º views over the Dolomites. We also talk about important logistics: motorhome access, the need for reservations to go up to the parking lot, and what to expect from this highly sought-after area.
