Lakken's Story - Marshfield Children's Hospital
In fourth grade, Lakken Burzynski’s teachers noticed big changes in her writing and school work. After multiple tests and scans, doctors at Marshfield Children’s found a medulloblastoma – a cancerous brain tumor at the base of her skull. Lakken spent more than a year in and out of Marshfield Children’s Hospital undergoing surgery and chemotherapy. marshfieldchildrens.org
