Transforming a Shed into a Moody Garden Retreat (Remodel Pt. 2)

The cozy interior of our mountain house potting shed is finally coming together! In Part 2 of our DIY shed remodel series, we’re moving past the structural changes to focus on the custom, moody interior details that make this space feel like a magical garden retreat. We installed reclaimed barnwood planks, stained the tongue-and-groove pine ceiling in a warm golden oak, and added elegant wainscoting for a classic touch. The space gets a dramatic update with custom black window trim, creating a beautiful contrast against the natural wood. Of course, it wouldn't be a #toddandrob project without a little paint color indecision along the way—wait until you see the "nocturnal blue" debate!
