Yes it is a holiday destination for many nationalities but this 4 days holiday time called kurban Bayram is special for the Turkish. They flock to Hisaronu in their thousands to savour the entertainment, food and excitment. Lets not forget the shopping. It a shoppers paradise here . Shopping in Hisaronu can be real fun. This year we have so many new and very posh stores open for you. The town was busy with Turkish people dancing in the streets and letting their hair down as we say. We visited the Hisaronu lunar park which was in full swing . Great for the kids and the adults! I was surprised to see a few camels and a donky on the main street. So for a 4 minutes ride on a camel will set you back 250tl. Hisaronu has probably more restaurants than most resorts. Offering every cuisine you can think of, Indian, Italian, Turkish and chinese to name a few. Oh and you can get a great steak just about anywhere apparently! I met Turkish people , Australian Scottish , English and many other nationalities on my nights walk through Hisaronu. It is for everyone. During the day Hisaronu is quiet but boy does it liven up when the sun goes down. The restaurants, bars and clubs all get busy. Cocktail bars, kareoke bars and the dancing bars all seem full. I can say, maybe Hisaronu is not for everyone but the thousands who visit it every year just love it. Great for families , lots to do. Do not forget it is a great central location, Oludeniz beach is 10 minutes away and the town of Fethiye 30 mins away. ' great resorts on Hisaronu's doorstep. If you enjoy music, shopping , food and dance, Hisaronu is the place to visit!
