EASY ARABIC LESSON 57 with Saad Ibn Sabah Full & Complete Arabic Grammar Course. Today's topic Harf of Light Verbs So, following 6 are the Harf of Light Verb: 1. Lan لَن 2. An اَن 3. Kay كَي 4. Izan اِذَن / اِذًا 5. Hatta حَتّىٰ 6. Li لِ Lan = never An = that Kay = so that Izan = if Hatta = until Li = for --------- Now we will first see what is this Light Verb? Before that, we must know Only Present tense be can become Light And therefore these Harf of Light Verbs will only be used with Present Tense Verbs. So the present tense verbs are Aftahu Taftahu Taftaheena Yaftahu Taftahu اَفتَحُ تَفتَحُ تَفتَحينَ يَفتَحُ تَفتَحُ Now if a Harf of light verbs's effect will fall upon any of these Verbs.. How they will look like is this : Aftaha Taftaha Taftaheen Yaftaha Taftaha اَفتَحَ تَفتَحَ تَفتَحين يَفتَحَ تَفتَحَ So that's all... --------- Lan = لَن = never This is a Harf of Light Verb So, I open = Aftahu I never open = Lan Aftaha I open the door = Aftahu Al Baaba I never open the door = Lan Aftaha Al Baaba ------- Now, Aftahu Taftahu Taftaheena Yaftahu Taftahu These are only singular..
