According to the National Police Chief, the National Police's authority in the case has been completed after the second phase of the process, namely the transfer of the case files, evidence, and suspects to the prosecutor's office. Therefore, further handling of the case rests entirely with the prosecutor's office. Listyo Sigit explained that after the case files are declared complete (P-21), investigators submit all documents, evidence, and suspects to the public prosecutor for further processing until the trial stage. Previously, the case files for the alleged defamation case involving the diploma of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, which ensnared Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa were declared complete. The two suspects were then handed over to the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office as part of the second phase of the transfer process. The public prosecutor will then review the administrative requirements and draft an indictment before submitting the case to the court for trial. Regarding the possibility of additional suspects in this case, there has been no official information regarding the determination of new suspects.
