New Class of Forest Rangers
A new class of 38 forest rangers, the largest ever in New York, begin their careers working around the state and in the Adirondacks. The long-awaited graduation has been applauded by environmental groups, and elected leaders, who have been calling for more forest rangers for several years as the number of visitors to the Adirondacks continues to grow.
