The Cowl Induction Hood air cleaner assy. is coming together: One step closer to zipping it up

The air cleaner housing assy is now getting closer to completion. The base and sidewall unit shown in a previous video meets up with the top plate. The flat plate will be fiber glassed to the base. A foam strip once in place, seals the fresh air entering from the cowl from heat that builds up in the engine compartment. The foam also compensates for normal engine movement allowed by the motor mounts and any flexing that might happen to the hood during road bumps and changes. The process of piecing all the pieces to the pieces previously cut and pieced together, in the piecemeal fashion already mentioned will become , yet another piece of the puzzle.
