Zachow - Praeludium & Fuge G-Dur / G Major - Kögler Organ, Nitra, Hauptwerk

Friedrich Wilhelm Zachow was a German baroque composer. Many famous and infamous composers are related to his name through different ways: Händel, Krieger, Schelle, Kirchhof. Handel was Zachow's most famous student and it seems he was much influenced by him. Hereby a small prelude and fugue by Zachow. A stately prelude and a lively frivolous fugue. Played on the sample set of the Kögler organ of Nitra, by Piotr Grabowski: https://piotrgrabowski.pl/nitra/ Sheet music on IMSLP: https://imslp.org/wiki/Special:Revers...
