Punching a Stud Hole in a Concave Shoe
Bloom Forge owner, Roy Bloom, CJF APF, demonstrates punching stud holes in a Kerckhaert Classic Concave shoe. He uses a Bloom Forge wood handled 5/16” stud punch and Bloom 2lb hammer in this demo. Holes are then drilled with a countersink drill bit to accommodate a 3/8” tap.
