KISSA In-Store Radio - Broadcasts for the Curious! ‘Anandham Flats’ by beatnyk [20.06.2026] Anandham Flats is an audio journal; beatnyk be sharing his practices and explorations from being a DJ for weddings in Chennai to becoming a live-coding computer musician in Delhi, with every sound that has shaped him and his art. Over the period of this residency, his sets will move from the stories of the streets he grew up on, through the ambient textural sounds of our changing landscapes he learned to listen, before diving into my algorithmic practices where my computer becomes an instrument and a co-producer. This show is an invitation to walk through the streets of Thirumullaivoyal listening to bird songs and chip tunes. Consider this a shared space to explore as well as to remember the harmony and discord between where we come from and where we’re going. beatnyk is a sound designer, electronic musician, and arts organiser whose practice explores the boundaries between sound, noise, and music. Working with laptops and electronic systems as instruments, his compositions and performances draw from ambient cityscapes, technological processes, and improvisation.
