Jó e a soberania de Deus na hora do sofrimento | Pr Hernandes Dias Lopes

It's not easy to deal with God's silence in the midst of suffering. It's not easy to cry out for help and hear only silence. It's not easy to pray for a cause and receive no answer. God often deals with us through silence. It was like Job. After losing his possessions, children, and health, Job also faced his wife's anger and his friends' incomprehension. Job raised the same question to heaven sixteen times: Why? Why? Why? The only answer he received was God's complete silence. Job expressed his complaint thirty-four times. He received only silence in response. When God spoke to him, He didn't answer a single one of his questions. Instead, He asked him seventy questions, revealing His majesty and power. God restored Job's fortunes and gave him double everything, including a long life. Job saw his children's children to the fourth generation. When God is silent, it's because He is working for us, not against us. He is preparing something better and greater for our lives. When God is silent, He continues to be our omnipotent, loving, and good Father!
