Chinese Pork Sausage - No Preservatives | Now You Can Make It Yourself at Home | Chinese Sausage | Nael Onion (scroll down for English SUB) Today, I'm sharing a recipe for making lapchiong, or Chinese pork sausage, which you can easily make at home. This recipe uses no chemical preservatives and is safe to consume because each ingredient in the recipe plays a role in preventing bacterial growth. Try to make it during the summer, not the rainy season, so the temperature isn't humid. To preserve it, once dry, store it in the freezer; it can last up to 6 months (do not put it in or out of the freezer). If the temperature isn't favorable, you can leave it on a refrigerator shelf and leave it uncovered for 7 days. The ingredients are fairly simple, except for the sausage casing, which you can buy online. Lapchiong ingredients: 1 kg skinless pork belly 1 kg pork shoulder 2 tbsp red yeast rice powder 250 g sugar 30 g salt 50 ml rose wine 30 ml soy sauce 1 tsp ngohiong Sausage casing (I used edible collagen sausage casing, or you can also use pork intestines) String For instructions, please see the video.
