A pioneering expedition to the Source of the Oxus, as claimed by Lt John Wood in 1838. A team from Secret Compass mounted an expedition in July 2011 to follow in the footsteps of the Great Game explorer. 3 weeks, 12 days trekking and 140 miles later they accomplished their aim.
