recopilación de toques militares, infantería, caballería y artillería

Military calls are a means of command, and their purpose is to replace verbal orders during close-order marches, as well as to indicate the execution of various acts of service, both for arms and within the ranks of troops. There are specific calls for infantry, cavalry, and artillery; and general ones for all arms and services. They are played with a bugle in infantry, a trumpet in cavalry, and a bugle in artillery. Bugles are normally accompanied by drums, while trumpets and bugles do not require them. These calls make military parades more attractive and lend greater solemnity to the ceremonial honors; their vibrant notes also stimulate the military spirit of the troops. The Ministry of National Defense, aware of their tradition and importance for the Mexican armed forces, is pleased to present the Regulatory Military Calls in this musical album.
