For its 100th anniversary, the German Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia looks not only to its past but also to its future. This film tells the story of a century of faithfulness to the Church of Christ and a new stage of Orthodox witness in Germany. The film features the most important moments of the anniversary celebrations: the Cathedral Liturgy, the Council of Bishops, and the meeting of the Synod of Bishops at the new Monastery of St. Job of Pochaev in Seifriedsberg, as well as the anniversary conference dedicated to the diocese's "Heritage and Calling." It also looks forward: how to preserve the spiritual heritage, pass it on to new generations, develop Orthodox life in the German language, and increasingly recognize our calling as a Church in Germany. May the Lord preserve His Church and all who faithfully serve. Anlässlich ihres 100-jährigen Jubiläums richtet die Deutsche Diözese der Russischen Orthodoxen Kirche im Ausland den Blick nicht nur auf ihre Geschichte, sondern auch auf ihre Zukunft. Dieser Film erzählt von einem Jahrhundert der Treue zur Kirche Christi und von einem neuen Kapitel orthodoxen Zeugnisses in Deutschland. Der Film zeigt die wichtigsten Ereignisse der Jubiläumsfeierlichkeiten: die gemeinsame Göttliche Liturgie, das Bischofskonzil und die Sitzung der Bischofssynode im neuen Kloster des heiligen Hiob von Počaev in Seyfriedsberg sowie die Jubiläumskonferenz zum Thema „Erbe und Berufung“ der Diözese. Zugleich richtet sich der Blick nach vorn: Wie kann das geistliche Erbe bewahrt und an kommende Generationen weitergegeben werden? Wie kann deutschsprachiges orthodoxes Leben wachsen?
