The 2nd annual Chelmsford Ratha Yatra (Festival of Chariots) takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026. This vibrant, multi-cultural event features a traditional, colourful chariot pulling procession starting at 12:00 PM from High Street, Tindal Square (CM1 1EH). he procession leads into a broader community festival packed with activities. Key highlights of the day include: The Parade: Witness or help pull the grand, traditional chariot through the streets. Free Food: A complimentary Indian vegetarian feast for all attendees.
