Warrior 350 Motor Tear Down & Case Split | Bearing Failure + Fix

In today’s video on Athena’s Garage, we split the Yamaha Warrior 350 engine cases and attempt a full bottom end rebuild. What started as a simple teardown quickly turned into a transmission nightmare when the cases wouldn’t spin after torquing. We tear down a donor motor, inspect a blown crank bearing, find metal in the oil filter, replace the timing chain, install new guides, torque the primary drive gear, set the counterbalance timing marks, and fight through helicoils and stripped bolts. The real issue? A slightly pressed-out countershaft bearing that locked the entire motor when the case halves were tightened.
