Ônibus Quebra na Estrada e Parada de R$140 no Quilo! Viagem Teresina x Brasília #2

On the continuation of the bus trip from Teresina to Brasília with Viação Catedral Turismo, more curious and questionable situations marked the route. 🔧 Right after leaving the Corrente bus station (PI), the bus broke down! Luckily, the driver himself managed to solve the problem and we continued on our way without having to change vehicles. 🍽️ The food stops continue to be a problem: even though there are options with better facilities and more affordable prices, the company insists on stopping at places with abusive prices. At the lunch stop, there was a restaurant with a fixed price of R$35 all you can eat and a suitable environment, but the official stop was made at a place where the kilo of food exceeded R$80, without the same facilities, and according to a passenger, hair was found in her food. 🚨 The peak was in the Bezerra District, in Goiás, where I found the most expensive price for food on the road that I have ever seen: almost R$140 per kilo! And the most absurd thing: next door, there is a competitor restaurant charging R$25 for all you can eat! Why does the company always choose the most expensive places? 🧳 And then there is the charge for cardboard boxes, considered “excess baggage”. According to ANTT Resolution 4.282/2014, the passenger is entitled to 30kg in the baggage compartment at no additional cost. If there is no weighing or issuance of an invoice, this charge is irregular and can be reported. 🚍 On the way, we crossed Bahia, passing through Barreiras and Luís Eduardo Magalhães, until we reached the state of Goiás, with our final destination at the bus station in Brasília (DF).
