Jaka lampa do LOW-TECHA. Akwarium na ziemi po prawie ROKU!

Hey there, underwater peepers! In my private messages, you regularly flood me with questions like: "Will this light do well in my tank?" or "I have these specific plants, what should I choose?". Instead of just theorizing, I decided to answer those questions in practice! In today's episode, we are putting 7 different lights to the test to see how they look and shine over one specific tank – our 54-liter aquarium. You'll see an overview ranging from budget-friendly, small lamps, through advanced full-spectrum lightbars, all the way to powerful monsters and well-known, high-end classics. Along the way, we do a little demolition (meaning a heavy trim!) in our overgrown jungle, and I share how this tank is doing after over half a year of running it. 🧠 Episode Glossary – Good to know! Low-Tech / The Diana Walstad Method – is a way of running an aquarium based on natural processes, without injecting carbon dioxide (CO2) from a cylinder and without advanced chemical fertilization. The substrate consists of ordinary potting soil capped with a layer of sand or gravel. Plants grow slower here but more steadily, and the aquarium itself requires much less work (less frequent water changes). Floating and emersed plants also play a vital role here, pulling excess organic compounds from the water. 💬 Which light do you think renders colors the best, and which one is total overkill for this tank volume? Let me know in the comments! If you have any questions about running this tank – feel free to ask, I'll answer everything.
